FIREFIGHTERS will stage a mock road traffic collision to promote road safety after a number of serious, including fatal, car crashes in Bolton.
Emergency services are holding the demonstration on Saturday, September 11 from 10.30am until early afternoon on Victoria Square in Bolton town centre.
They will be illustrating the aftermath of car crashes, many which are avoidable if people take due care and attention.
They will be showing people how they deal with road traffic collisions and rescue casualties in a bid to reduce this kind of incident from happening.
A Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "Why not watch our firefighters carry out a road traffic collision demo to see what's involved when they're called to this kind of incident?
