A BOLTON man is due to appear in court charged in connection with child abduction.
Police say Anthony Lingard, aged 38, of Jethro Street, Tonge Fold, is accused of five counts of child abduction.
The allegations relate to five separate incidents which took place between July 2019 and January of last year.
The are said to involve an alleged child victim who was in their teens.
Police say a man is accused of taking the child on a number outings after presenting their parents with a false identity.
Lingard is due to appear before Manchester and Salford magistrates next Tuesday for a preliminary hearing.
