A £3.85million mansion belonging to football legend Paul Scholes has been sold after ten months.
The huge property in Grasscroft, Saddleworth, is the most expensive on the market in Oldham.
As well as seven bedrooms, six bathrooms and six reception rooms, it boasts a football pitch, a putting green and a swimming pool.
It also has a gym and a sauna.
Manchester United and England legend Scholes put the mansion on the market in September 2020, with The Mirror and other national newspapers reporting the former midfielder was selling after splitting up with wife Claire.
They shared the property for more than 20 years, raising three children in it, including Manchester Thunder netballer Alicia Scholes.
The mansion also made headlines last year after some claims it hosted a party on the same day as new coronavirus restrictions banned gatherings in houses or gardens across Greater Manchester.
In August 2020, the BBC reported police had spoken to Scholes about these claims.
Earlier in the month, The Oldham Times reported the property was still on the market with no sign of a reduction in the asking price.
But now the mansion has been sold, subject to conditions, according to Rightmove.
The buyer's identity is unknown, as is whether the property sold for its asking price.
