ANOTHER coronavirus death has been recorded at Royal Bolton Hospital in the last 24 hours, official figures show - as cases in the borough rose by 83.
It means that 37,800 people have been confirmed as having tested positive for Covid-19 in Bolton since the first case was recorded on March 20 of last year.
Data shows 763 people had died in the area by July 27 – up one from Monday.
It means there have been seven deaths in the past week.
The figures include anyone who died within 28 days of a positive test result for Covid-19, and whose usual residence was in Bolton.

Daily death counts are revised each day, with each case backdated to the actual date of death.
The figures also show that nearly two-thirds of people in Bolton have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine.
The latest figures show 156,927 people had received both jabs by July 26 (Monday) – 64 per cent of those aged 18 and over.
Across England, 71 per cent of people aged 18 and above had received a second dose of the jab.
