A packed platform at Bolton’s Trinity Street Station, Bolton, 1967, and it looks as though these ladies were heading for a special day out.
There were hats aplenty and some pretty stylish outfits on show as they waited for their train. Where were they off to?
The station clock tells us it was shortly before 9am and they were on platform two so perhaps a timetable buff can work it out for us.
If you recognise any of the women or know where they were going, email john.anson@nqnw.co.uk and we’ll share the information with Looking Back readers
