THE FORMER headquarters of EG Group has been let to new occupants.
The office building on Haslingden Road in Blackburn has been let to funding advisors 401 Group after just two months on the market.
The company hopes that this will mark the beginning of a new stage of growth, while chartered surveyors Trevor Dawson said that this is one of the most significant deals they have carried out on behalf of EG Group in recent years.
Trevor Dawson managing director Caroline James said: “We are delighted to have secured this early letting for our client Euro Garages.
"The letting is significant as it is one of the largest in the area over the last two years and endorses the importance of offices to business.
"Euro House offers a modern high-quality, open plan environment with excellent amenities and accessibility.”
Euro House was built for EG Group in 2010 but, in 2017, Blackburn with Darwen Council approved plans for a new 130,000 sq ft facility across the road to support the company’s expansion plans.
The building provides 15,155 square feet office accommodation, adjacent to Beehive Trading Park whose occupiers include Starbucks, Sainsburys, Subway and Greggs in addition to the petrol filling station.
EG Group staff left Euro House, to take up residence in the company's new £35 million headquarters with views over Fishmoor Reservoir at Haslingden Road in August last year.
