THE best Christmas present Steve Bleasdale could have is his first league win since returning to Hilton Park.
The manager has been frustrated by a lack of success since he took charge eight games ago and with his side rock-bottom of the Blue Square North, the home games against the Reds today and Stalybridge on Saturday are an ideal opportunity for him to break his duck.
"The tactics are right, the preparation spot on and the spirit is still good," said Bleasdale. "We need a lucky break and if we can get one win it will do our confidence the world of good.
"We did well against Workington in the Trophy, but then gave away a gift goal. We have to cut out those errors."
