RALF Little has joked about being typecast as a "loveable skinny teenager" in his late 30s.
The former Bolton schoolboy is widely known for his role Antony Royle in The Royle Family, which he first starred in as a teenager.
However, he said that he "wouldn't change" his role, calling it the "price we pay for being lucky enough to be a part of history."
He has since starred in Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, 24 Hour Party People and Death in Paradise.
Little was replying to actor Ralph Ineson, who was replying to another tweet comparing his Chernobyl character to his character in The Office, Finchy.
Ineson tweeted: "To say I’m tired of every part I’ve played for the last 20 years being cross referenced with Finchy would be an understatement. Very occasionally though they’re good so fair enough."
Replying to him, Little said: "Haha at least when you were typecast it was as actual adult!
"Being the loveable skinny teenager isn’t quite the same in your late 30s! (Wouldn’t change it though - price we pay for being lucky enough to be a part of history. But still...)"
