FANS lined up on Le Mans Crescent to get a peak of the filming going on in Le Mans Crescent this week.
Stars of the hit drama Peaky Blinders are in town for the sixth instalment of the critically acclaimed drama.
Cillian Murphy, who plays Tommy, was seen smiling on set as he prepared for a shoot yesterday, with fans armed with cameras desperate for a picture of him.
Screens have been put up to stop any plotlines being leaked but that did not stop die-hard fans from trying to peak through.
It is not the first time cast and crew of Peaky Blinders have used Le Mans Crescent as a backdrop, the stunning architecture was showcased in the first series.
Yesterday people gathered outside the library watching the filming taking place.
Becky Sharples said: "It is quite exciting, I know they film a lot of stuff in Bolton but it's really great to have our name out there.
"I'm a massive fan of the show, I've watched all the series and we went to the tour that they did in Birmingham about the really Peaky Blinders.
"Somebody said that Cillian Murphy was here and that they saw him - I'm hoping I'll see him too."
Several were heard asking the security guards if they could have Cillian Murphy's autograph. One woman shouted: "I just want to see him, I'm 42 so I'm the perfect age for him - just forget the fact I'm married!"
