Visitors to Bolton General Hospital could enjoy some new facilities in 1976 with the opening of this new shop and rest area.
The shop was run by members of the WVS initially in the afternoons only although it was hoped to offer evening opening too.
If you didn’t fancy to vending machine, the WVS was serving teas for 4p and coffee for 6p. Ribena would set you back 5p
