ACTOR Martin Compston has revealed he has bought a flat in Greenock to be near his parents on trips back home.

The Line of Duty star and American wife Tianna live in Las Vegas and welcomed their first baby in 2019.

The 36-year-old says he hardly gets to spend any time at either property as filming means lots of time on the road.

He told the Gaby Roslin podcast: "I spend most of my time in the UK really.

"We've got a house in Vegas where my wife's family are and we've got a place in Greenock, but most of the time I'm on the road, which can be really tough as there is no support network around you."

The new series of Line of Duty airs this Sunday on BBC1.
