Leigh RMI 1 Workington Reds 3
LEIGH'S interest in the FA Trophy ended against a side they will face three times in as many weeks.
RMI dominated the first half but were denied by an oustanding keeper and then found themslves behind when Matthew Berkeley slotted home.
Mark Smyth grabbed an equaliser when his shot was deflected into the net after a smart Kieran Lugsden lay-off, but Craig Johnson's edge of the box half-volley ensured Leigh's joy was shortlived and Jonny Wright put the tie out of reach when he scored at the back post.
