M61
A lane has been closed on the M61 in order to repair the road.
The M61 northbound between De Havilland Way near Horwich to Millennium Way towards Chorley is affected by one lane being closed due to 'emergency repairs'.
Highways England say this emergency repair is for a pothole with maintenance crews on the scene with traffic officers.
Traffic is said to be coping fairly well.
Update: The incident has now been resolved.
