An ice weather warning issued has been issued for Bolton.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for ice across large swathes of northern England, Scotland, the Midlands and Wales on Thursday and Friday.
People are being warned of potential injuries from slips and falls on icy surfaces and icy patches on some untreated roads, pavements and cycle paths leading to dangerous driving, walking, and cycling conditions.
Some snow is forecast on Thursday afternoon and Friday morning in Bolton but it is set to stay mostly dry.
The ice warning is in place until 11am on Friday.
