COLNE fleet management company Tyreoo has unveiled a new deal that will see the firm provide full vehicle services and monitor potential defects for Bolton security firm Leisure Guard Security.
The deal tasked Tyreoo, formerly known as Colne Tyre Centre, with ensuring that all the security company’s 60 vehicles are roadworthy, taxed, insured and MOT certificates as well as undertaking three-month checks on drivers to ensure they have valid driving licences.
Tyreoo experts will also use a company developed app to check the vehicle details with the DVLA and deal with any penalty charge notices and use the app to random spot checks on Leisure Guard Security drivers.
Managing director Azhar Iqbal said: “It’s easy to take compliance for granted, most directors do not realise they are responsible for the drivers’ safety and the vehicles roadworthy condition.
“Failure to meet these standards can result in huge fines and, in some instances, prison sentences for the directors.
“Our fleet management service works 24/7 to keep you and your fleet compliant."
This new partnership with the Bolton security firm marks a staging post in Mr Iqbal’s ambitious plans to expand the Tyreoo’s reach across East Lancashire and beyond.
Mr Iqbal said: “This is a fantastic deal for us and one we are delighted to have secured."
Leisure Guard Security operations director Saj Kadva said: “We are pleased to have found a company, which provides such a great service.
“Tyreoo makes the whole process, from booking to returning the vehicle, so simple and hassle-free."
“We are delighted to be working with them.”
