Sat in rows, paying attention - in the main - this was speech day at Bolton School in 1964.
Thousands of boys must have sat in the same hall and enjoyed/endured the annual occasion over the years which has always been a key date on the school’s calendar.
The haircuts may have changed but probably very little else has on speech day in the intervening years.
If you were at the school in the Sixties, perhaps you can spot yourself or someone you know in the photograph.
