A TOTAL of 20 hanging baskets have been put on display in Tonge Fold to brighten up the community.
Tonge Fold Neighbourhood Watch chairman Dave Edmondson was given a grant from the National Lottery Community Fund and has used some of the money to add the gardening decorations at various spots in the area.
The baskets include the group's social media contact details on the outside of them so people can stay in touch with the work they do.
Dave said: "There have been 20 hanging basket put up after we got money from the National Lottery Community Fund.
"Archer Access Hire kindly offering to put them up for us which saved us some money too.
"With the money saved I'm hoping to put more up as the feedback has been extremely positive.
"I go around watering them most evenings when it's dry and some residents are now watering the ones in their streets.
"This is great to see and hear about as it's bringing pride back to the area."
