FIREFIGHTERS are continue to work hard to extinguish the latest Winter Hill moorland fire and prevent a major incident akin to the blaze of July 2018.
That fire which covered 18 square kilometres and took hundreds of firefighters 41 days to put out.
Photographer Phil Taylor has been up to Winter Hill today and taken more than 40 pictures of the scene.
