POLICE are appealing for the public's help to tackle people riding dirt bikes in public places.
It comes after officers from Greater Manchester Police's Bolton West team seized three offroad motorbikes.
One of the bikes was seized from 17-year-old who had been riding the bike in Marsh Fold Lane, Heaton, when they were stopped by officers.
Police found that the teen was riding without a licence or insurance and so reported them for a summons.
Another was then later seized by officers on patrol in Moss Bank Way.
In a statement on Facebook, GMP Bolton West said: "This was as a result of information you gave. Thank you.
"The eagle eyed amongst you may have spotted this is very similar to the bike we seized last week on Romney Road however this is a second to add to our collection."
This third bike had been seized by officers in Johnson Fold on April 13.
Again the rider was found to have no licence or insurance and was reported for a summons.
The statement added: "If you see bikes like this being ridden on a road or public place, please contact 101 or use the live chat function on our website.
"If you have any information about the riders of these bikes or where these bikes are being stored when not ridden please contact us in confidence either directly or via Crimestoppers."
