A DRAMA filmed in Bolton been streamed one million times in just two weeks.
Get Even is a young people’s mystery drama showing on BBC iPlayer.
BBC North tweeted this week: “Get Even reached 1 million streams on BBC iPlayer.
“Filmed in Bolton, the series follows four teenage girls who join together to expose and fight injustice.
“If you haven’t seen it don’t get mad — Get Even!”
Last summer television crews rolled into town to film for the show at locations around the borough including Le Mans Crescent and Bolton School.
Get Even follows four schoolgirls, Kitty, Margot, Bree and Olivia, who at face value seem to have nothing in common.
However the girls are united by a common passion to expose injustice at their elite but corrupt private school, Bannerman.
Cheryl Taylor, head of content for BBC Children’s, said: “It is widely acknowledged that 12-15 year olds can be a difficult audience to reach.
“This new content bridges the small gap between the top end of CBBC and all the amazing content for 16-34s on BBC Three.”
The series is the latest to be filmed in Bolton.
