THE bulldozers moved in as a Bolton landmark reached the end of the line back in 1987.
Trinity Street Station, which had served the town for almost 100 years, was being demolished as part of a major revamp of the town’s transport infrastructure.
The station was originally built by the Lancashire and Yorkshire Railway company.
Part of the historic building was being preserved with the old clock tower being dismantled brick by brick with plans for it to be reassembled on the site of the town’s new £million bus and rail interchange.
