TWO men have been arrested following a burglary at a home in Bolton.
The duo, aged 27 and 29, were stopped when they were spotted by police driving towards the town centre.
Just before 4am yesterday morning, officers responded to reports of two males trying to steal a Citroen on Hereford Road, Heaton.
But, whilst officers were on their way to the location, they saw the Citroen driving towards Bolton town centre and immediately began to follow the car.
The officers were able to stop the vehicle on Knowsley Street, at which point, the Citroen driver began to ram two police vehicles.
Both males were detained and were taking into custody by the police.
When officer’s attended the Citroen owners address, they found that the house had been burgled.
Both males remain in police custody for questioning.
