HARD-WORKING officers were treated to a festive surprise as pupils from a Bolton school presented them with hampers.
Four pupils from The Olive School in Bolton handed officers at Astley Bridge Police Station the goodies to say a special thank you.
Writing on Facebook, Greater Manchester Police said: "What a lovely surprise to be visited by four very well behaved pupils from The Olive School, Bolton, with a wonderful hamper of goodies to be shared amongst police officers and PCSOs.
"The children have been learning about the values of service and respect and we thoroughly enjoyed showing them around our station as a thank you."
Last year, pupils handed out 30 hampers across the community.
