HUNDREDS of people attended a Light Up A Life Appeal Services for St Ann’s Hospice this week.
Three were held at Manchester Cathedral on Sunday, one at St Ann’s in Little Hulton on Monday, and additional services later this week at St Peter’s Church in Hale and St Ann’s site in Heald Green.
Light Up A Life, which is now in its 23rd year, enables people to honour and celebrate the life of someone special either by dedicating a Christmas tree light or by creating an online dedication in St Ann’s winter forest which can include a photo and message to a loved one.
Eamonn O’Neal, Chief Executive from St Ann’s, said: “I have attended many Light Up A Life services at Manchester Cathedral and never fail to be moved by the way that they honour loved ones no longer with us while celebrating their lives.”
