WALKDEN Coronation Street star actor and I'm a Celeb star Andy Whyment has been making viewers chuckle ­— as he gets used to life in the jungle.

Andy, who plays Kirk Sutherland, was discussing tipping workers with fellow actor Cliff Parisi, who played Minty Peterson on Corrie ­— but now appears in BBC drama Call The Midwife. Andy revealed that he tipped a couple of pounds for his six pound haricut. But pal Cliff replied: "No barber who charges six quid would touch my head top – ever!"

After then discussing tips with the other camp mates, Cliff said he would tip his driver with something like a holiday. Cliff said he’d had the same driver for work for four years and at the end of the year he would "give him a nice present like a holiday or something".

Andy later said: "Seems to me like Cliff must get paid pretty well on Call The Midwife, much more than I do on Corrie anyway.”
