Dear Style Rehab
I am looking for a sexy underwear set for a birthday night out. Where can I get an affordable, trendy set which will go under my black dress but also hold me in. My problem is I'm a 36E. It's very hard to find a bra to fit that doesn't cost the earth.
Annie, Farnworth
Well Annie, many girls will be envious of your ample bosom however not at the amount you used to have to pay for lingerie.
Not anymore though. High street stores do offer larger cup sizes - don't be afraid to venture into the plus size sections. It's not that you need larger clothes but they do sometimes have a lingerie concession.
Debenhams has just launched a new plus size collection, Gorgeous, and it has designed beautiful sets which are sure to get you feeling sexy on your birthday. The best bit is that the range is from size 32 to 40 in size D to G cups.
Try this blue ensemble with swirly detail and a tiny bow as a break from the norm, for £18. The matching shorts are available at £8.
Or how about this daytime black, white and pink set for lounging about when you've had one too many the night before. £20 for the bra and £10 for the shorts.
If you want to go uber-sexy on the night out why not try the black sequinned look at £18 for the bra and £8 for the shorts. If your dress has a low-cut element let a little sheer fabric peek through - although avoid all out cleavage. Showing a little (less is more) of your assets will not only make you look sassy but feel it too.
If that's not enough, other high street stores also stock larger cup sizes. Marks and Spencer - naturally is one of them.
Actor Kelly Brook has exclusively designed a lingerie range for New Look too. With sizes from an A cup to an E cup you might find something there. With prices ranging between £5 - for thongs, and £15-£20 for a bra you can afford to look lush in your lingerie.
Happy Birthday!
