POLICE have issued a warning to parents after teenage yobs were spotted throwing fireworks at vehicles.
Officers from the Bolton North Neighbourhood Team were patrolling "anti-social behaviour hotspots" last night when they received a report of the youths' loutish actions in Bromley Cross.
Despite the danger posed by the fireworks no one was injured and no property was damaged in the incident.
However, police are encouraging parents to know where their children are, particularly at night, and to educate them about the hazards of fireworks.
In a post GMP Bolton North said: "We have responded to a reported incident of youths throwing fireworks at vehicles in Bromley Cross.
"Clearly this is extremely dangerous and fortunately no one has been injured and no damage has been caused on this occasion."
"Parents please speak with your children and ensure that they aware of the dangers of fireworks and keeping safe."
