YOBS set fire to a wheelie bin and set off fireworks in a children's park.
Youths were seen running from the scene of a wheelie bin fire in Boardman Street park, in Halliwell, on Saturday evening.
The fire service were called at around 7.30pm and crews from Farnworth fire station attended.
A spokesman said: "We were called to reports of a wheelie bin fire on a park.
"Youths were seen running from the scene and setting fireworks off at the same spot."
