TRAIN services are being severely delayed this morning as heavy rain has caused some tracks to flood.
Commuters travelling from Daisy Hill, Hag Fold, Atherton or Walkden stations should expect trains to be "cancelled or delayed".
It comes as the line between Wigan and Salford became flooded due to a prolonged period of rain, meaning services must run at a reduced speed.
Network Rail has warned that the disruption is expected to continue until around 9am.
