DASH-cam footage shows a drink-driver from Bolton performing a u-turn on a motorway and driving into oncoming traffic.
Lancashire Police have released a video showing David Haughton, aged 75, driving on the M6 between junction 33 and 32, the Preston-Lancaster section, on the wrong side of the carriageway.
Officer received reports a motorist was driving the wrong way down the motorway on April 23.
They found the driver had stopped against the central reservation.

Haughton, of Dryfield Lane, Bolton was detained and found to be almost twice the drink drive limit.
He was arrested and charged with dangerous and drink driving.
Haughton was given an eight month prison sentence and disqualified from driving for two years.
Lancs Road Police posted on the video: "The potential consequences of his actions could have easily been fatal."
