AN Atherton man has admitted wounding another man.
John Liptrot, of Kirkby Avenue, pleaded guilty to wounding John Carden on January 26.
He denied a charge of wounding with intent and this was ordered to lie on the file.
His barrister, Anthony O'Donohoe, told Liverpool Crown Court that 34-year-old Liptrot is currently the subject of an electronic tag.
"While a custodial sentence is a possibility, the court would be assisted by a pre-sentence report," he said.
Liptrot was remanded on bail to await sentence on November 6.
