DOCTORS in Bolton are celebrating their efforts in the last year.
Bolton Medical Centre, in Great Lever takes part in a voluntary national incentive scheme designed to improve practices' care and has just found out it met 100 per cent of its goals.
The centre in Rupert Street met the targets set by the Quality and Outcomes Framework (QoF) and other practices in the same group, SSP Health, are also celebrating their own good work.
Dr Sanjay Pitalia, GP and director of SSP Health, said: “Congratulations to our colleagues at Bolton Medical Centre for hitting 100 per cent in the latest QoF ratings. It shows what great care our patients there are receiving.
“It is also absolutely brilliant that our practices generally have achieved such outstanding results. They reflect the hard work of all our staff.
“We were especially pleased with the high scores from our new practices, which have joined us in the past year, some of which faced particular challenges in having to achieve the very high standards of care.”
