AN organisation working to improve Bolton's future says the Bolton Business Awards has made all the difference.
The Bolton Family, a partnership of private and public organisations, won last year's community award after supporting small businesses in the borough and paving the way employment opportunities.
Among other businesses in the partnership, Keoghs solicitors has seen positive change for the Bolton Family since the organisation won the award.
Corporate Social Responsibility Manager at Keoghs, Rachel Mitchell-Denson, said: "Since winning the community sward, the Bolton Family has continued to grow, attracting more members and working closely with the community on new initiatives to make a difference locally.
"One example would be the 2020 Challenge, where we are asking people to take part in 20 challenges which will help improve their communities.
"Such important ideas can only be helped by the profile gained from winning the Bolton Business Awards."
This year the awards will be celebrated at a prestigious ceremony at The University of Bolton Stadium on Thursday, September 26.
Awards will be given for 15 categories, including Regeneration Project of the Year and Family Business of the Year.
