BOLTON NICE Advice and Community Resource Centre received £2,000 from Yorkshire Building Society's Charitable Foundation.
The centre supports individuals and families by providing courses, activities and a soup kitchen for people who may be homeless or facing social isolation.
Martin McLoughlin, who works at the community centre, said: “We can't thank the Charitable Foundation enough for their support. We were delighted to find out they had chosen to support our cause, which meant we could support more families with food over winter and make repairs to our van, which we rely on to collect food and transport."
