A DOG groomer is offering homeless people the chance to give their dog a free makeover.
Tracy Pilling, who runs Suddy Buddies Grooming Boudoir, in Chorley Old Road will also be offering free refreshments for homeless people while their dog is taken care of.
She said: "I always see homeless people with dogs when I'm out and about and my heart always goes out to them.
"I'll try to buy food for the dogs because I don't know how well they get to eat apart from the little bits they get passed from their owners.
"So I just want to offer a free service every Monday, where I can check them over because they need properly looking after."
Ms Pilling started grooming dogs four years ago after studying a course at St Helens College and she opened her own store in October 2018.
She also has a qualification in dog first aid and resuscitation.
As well as grooming, the store also offers other services such as doggy daycare.
She added: "If you work full time, just bring your dog in and I'll look after them. We've got somebody interested in doing dog walking as well."
