A 25-YEAR-OLD law student was found dead by her twin sister in the home they shared.
An inquest at Bolton Coroners Court yesterday heard that Linda Lestelin’s body was discovered on August 24 at a house on The Moorings, Worsley.
Senior coroner Jennifer Leeming heard that Ms Lestelin’s provisional cause of death was caused by an overdose on antidepressants.
Stefan Wilson, from GMP’s Coroners Office told the court that the young law student had been expected to pick her sister up from the airport on the day of her death but never arrived.
When her sister reached the home she found Ms Lestelin, who is originally from Finland, dead and called the police.
After launching an investigation, Mr Wilson told the court that GMP had found no suspicious circumstances surrounding Ms Lestelin’s death.
The inquest has now been adjourned until Thursday, January 3 2019, at 2pm when it will be held at Bolton Coroners Court, Paderborn House, on Le Mans Crescent.
