JUSSI Jaaskelainen's agent has hinted the Reebok keeper could follow Sam Allardyce to Newcastle after the breakdown of contract talks.
Peter Harrison claims Wanderers have withdrawn their contract offer to the Finland international and have no plans to re-open negotiations.
And with Allardyce having goalkeeping problems of his own where he has chopped and changed between Steve Harper and Shay Given, that has led Harrison to suggest Jaaskelainen could be heading for Tyneside.
"Jussi would be interested in joining a club like Newcastle, especially as Sam Allardyce was his best manager at Bolton," Harrison said.
