BOLTON MP Chris Green has confirmed he has submitted a letter calling for a vote of no confidence in Prime Minister Theresa May.
Following on from the announcement that a draft Brexit deal has been drawn up (585 pages) speculation has been rife that the Prime Minister could face a vote of no confidence, even before she attempts to get the deal through Parliament.
The 1922 Committee, a group of back bench Tories, chaired by Sir Graham Brady, has the power to trigger a no confidence vote in the party leader.
Many constituents have contacted me enquiring as to whether or not I have put my letter of no confidence in with Sir Graham Brady MP. With a heavy heart, I confirm that I have put my letter in calling for a vote of no confidence in the Prime Minister, Theresa May.
