THIS week, teenager and Wanderers season ticket holder for 10 years, Paul Holden, gives his view on yesterday's performance: IN reality both teams were pretty poor in a game that was less than inspiring at the best of times.

This is by no means a valid excuse though for the lacklustre performance put in by the majority of our players in which we posed little threat to the Spurs defence.

The team lacked the willingness to win and fight for a result, and if it hadn't have been for the charismatic Campo we would surely still be at the foot of the table.

Our defensive worries don't seem to have disappeared even after the dropping of Gerald Cid, and all that was needed were balls over the top to stump our shaky back four.

Apart from my man of the match, Ivan Campo, the midfield was poor, especially skipper Kevin Nolan who lacked any attacking finesse.

Due to negligence in the midfield, Jenas and Tainio were both allowed acres of space in the middle of the park to create chances for Berbatov and Keane.

When you thought it could get no worse, the usual bright sparks of the team, Diouf and Anelka, were both largely ineffective. Whether this was due to good defending or a general lack of confidence, it strongly disabled the team.

It may all have been different if it hadn't been for poor refereeing as Paul Robinson clearly brought Anelka down in the penalty area, which should have been a penalty and a straight red.

In effect this could have changed the whole game, yet in reality we were poor and didn't deserve to win, let alone draw.

Overall, we should be happy with the point and the fact Ivan Campo has come back and injected an individual spark back into our game.

Nevertheless, morale and team spirit are severely lacking which was proved by the little bust-up near the end between Jussi Jaaskelainen and Abdoulaye Meite.

On yesterday's performance it quite clearly shows the manager hasn't got a grip on the dressing room, and I don't think he knows how he is going to get us out of this relegation dogfight. The simple answer is: he must go!
