Coloured Tights - Kathryn Message, Manager of Topshop, Market Place.
"We will see the younger market indulging in footless neon tights teamed with pelmet skirts. However, the majority of fashion followers will be wearing more tonal colours for autumn/winter like plums and dark greens.
"With a Scandinavian theme running through this season, I would team the tights with this season's must-have botanical print dress, cosy Ugg-style boots and oversized chunky knits.
"Closed wedges worn with thick coloured tights will be a hit too.
"Once the summer is over we should see more colours coming through, quickly."
Amber Taylor, Manager of New Look, Crompton Place
"Coloured tights are for the teenagers. They are young, fashionable and fun.
"Those who wear them should try teaming the tights with dolly shoes, leg warmers or shorts - all three will work well.
"Try to avoid clashing patterned footwear or patterned clothes with tights of any colour."
Buns - Michael Ainsworth
"Buns are a very "on" trend at the moment. It's a classy look that can be taken through the day by keeping it plain, and into the evening by using hair accessories.
"Tying your hair back keeps hair off the face.
"At home, brush the hair tightly back and do a low pony. Twist the hair around the bobble and pin it in place. Use Kerastase Lumiere Nutri-sculpt serum to smooth any frizzy edges."
Shimmer - Natasha Cartwright
"This look tends to look better on younger skin as shimmering powder on eyes can make mature skin look crepey and show lines you didn't know you had.
"Start with a good coverage of a cream powder foundation - L'Oreal Cashmere Matte is perfect. Next, brush a hint of rose across the cheeks followed by a highlighter, such as Benefit High Beam, along the socket line up to the temple.
"On the eyes, use a light silver or white for the base. Then use a shimmer metallic kohl pencil to line the eye on the upper lid and part-way along the outer corner of the lower lid. Apply black mascara to frame the eyes and leave the lips nude or matte.
"Well-groomed brows compliment this look as shimmer powder sticks to stray hairs - not a good look."
