Eleven lucky young Wanderers fans who share their birthday with the Reebok Stadium will be stars for the day for the ground's 10th anniversary celebrations.
Children born on the same day as the Reebok's first fixture - September 1, 1997 - are being offered a birthday celebration they will never forget, with the chance to run out alongside their heroes in the fixture against Everton.
Ten years ago, the stadium's opening fixture against the same Merseyside club ended in a 0-0 draw.
Now the club wants youngsters born that day to get in touch. Their names will be put into a hat and 11 will be picked in a random draw next Wednesday to see if they make the team.
Wanderers' communications manager Danny Reuben said it would be a day of celebrations. Around 26,000 fans are expected to pack the ground and sponsors Reebok are offering a "surprise" gift to everyone who comes through the turnstiles.
"There will be a real carnival atmosphere and the fact that we've got 11 mascots will be a great tonic for the players," he said.
The 11 lucky mascots will also get a pair of tickets to the game for their friends or family.
Mr Reuben revealed that the club had asked the Premier League for a home fixture but had no idea they would end up playing Everton.
"It's a great opportunity to do something really special. We really need something like this at the minute because it hasn't been the best start to the season. We feel that the fans will come out in their numbers."
