POTATOES, peas and beans were just some of the vegetables on display at this year's Edgworth and District Horticultural Show.
Visitors were also treated to homemade jams, cakes, bread and biscuits, while an array of flowers, arts, crafts and woodwork were also on display.
Despite the wet weather, hundreds of people flocked to the event, which was held at the Barlow Institute in Blackburn Road, Edgworth.
Secretary and organiser, Irene Spencer, said: "We had 50 per cent more entries this year and I think we had the highest turnout we have ever had.
"We were worried the rain would keep people away, but it seemed to have the opposite effect.
"It was a fantastic day and everyone had a great time."
