TRAGIC Andrew Holland is the latest victim of Bolton's violent knife culture.
Two other men have been stabbed to death during street fights in the past 10 months.
In March, Keith Platt, aged 30, of Kearsley, was knifed following a pub brawl.
Mr Platt suffered multiple stab wounds when he was attacked in Higher Market Street, Farnworth, after a fight in the Post Office pub. Four men, who deny being involved in his killing, are due to stand trial next month.
In November last year, 19-year-old Rabid Amin died after being stabbed 15 times during a brawl in Bolton town centre.
Last month Jabar Ahmed, aged 20, was jailed for 11 years after being found guilty of Mr Amin's manslaughter.
There have been countless further knife attacks in the borough, which although not fatal, have left the victims with serious injuries.
In January, four teenagers were stabbed during a street brawl in Breightmet and in December, a 15-year-old suffered knife wounds after being attacked in a ginnel in St George's Road, Bolton.
More serious was a knife attack at Bolton Bus Station which left a 23-year-old man with wounds so serious he lost 12 pints of blood.
John Fletcher was stabbed three times during an argument with Lee Moran, of Bond Street, Leigh, about a mobile phone last October. Lee has since been jailed.
Earlier this year hospital bosses admitted they were dealing with a stab victim every day in the Royal Bolton Hospital's busy accident and emergency department.
