MEMBERS of the Bolton Lions met the founder of an international charity to find out how charity donations are spent.
Rev Bernard Cocker, the founder and CEO of The International Aid Trust, also presented the Lions president Jeff Hartley with a certificate of thanks for the donations they have made.
The Lions collected clothing items to be given to those in need. The International Aid Trust works on rehabilitating offenders and providing housing programmes for the homeless, as well providing holidays and collections for deprived children. It also run a shoebox appeal for people around the world who wouldn’t normally have access to the items inside.
Further information about the charity is available at internationalaidtrust.org.uk
