AN ambulance collided with a car in Crompton Way this morning.
Witness, Paul Eccles, was in a van waiting in queued traffic in the opposite carriageway at around 9am when the incident occurred near the Fortune Cookie takeaway at the junction of Tonge Moor Road.
He said: “I was waiting to turn left to go to Bradshaw. It looks like it has collided with a little red car on the junction.”
Video taken by the passenger in Mr Eccles’ van shows a red car pulled in on Crompton Way a short distance from the junction.
An ambulance can be seen on the junction with the door open and the paramedic getting out the vehicle.
There are not thought to be any injuries as a result of the collision.
There are no reports of slow traffic in the area.
A spokesman for the North West Ambulance Service said: “One of our ambulances was involved in a collision in Tonge Moor Road.
“It was a minor collision. No one was taken to hospital to hospital.”
