THE biggest e-sports event in the world will be broadcast live for fans at The Light Cinema this weekend.

Intel Extreme Masters Katowice was watched by more than 46 million fans worldwide in 2017.

This year’s event is taking place in Poland, but The Light has been chosen as one of 12 cinemas across the country to hold a special live screening of the final.

A spokesman said: “For local fans that can’t make it to Poland, it’s a great opportunity to experience the excitement of this huge tournament live with other fans, on the big screen. Attendees will also get exclusive freebies and competitions from big brands on the day.”
