THIS week we take a look at The Last Drop Village in Bromley Cross.
There can’t be many Boltonians who are unfamiliar with this hotel and leisure complex.
Over the years it’s been home to numerous restaurants and bars, and the scene of many-a-wedding. Among the interesting pictures here is a one of the ‘North’s most expensive meals on wheels service’.
This daily delivery of cooked meats and pies was pushed into service when a fire left The Last Drop’s then sister hotel, the Tickled Trout, in Samlesbury, Preston, without any catering facilities.
