DISABLED passengers are being encouraged to have their say in a consultation on the accessibility of public transport.
Sir David Crausby MP wants his constituents to share their views on the Government’s Accessibility Action Plan.
The strategy includes measures to improve disabled access to parking, information on passenger facilities at stations and on trains, and a range of other steps to make travelling spontaneously easier.
Sir David said: “Local residents often come to me with concerns about access to public transport.
“I’m pleased to see that the Government are beginning to look at this and I want as many people as possible to engage with the consultation and help shape the agenda for the future.”
The consultation is open at gov.uk/dft#consultations until midnight on November 15.
