GOOD listeners and those with ‘a heart for others’ are being sought to volunteer at two of Bolton’s biggest retail destinations.
Bolton Town Centre Chaplaincy and Middlebrook Angels Retail Chaplaincy are looking for new members to join their expanding teams.
The services offer a listening ear and support to people who work in Bolton town centre and Middlebrook Retail and Leisure Park, in Horwich.
The role involve visiting staff in shops and businesses for about two hours a week on a day convenient for volunteers.
People interested in joining either service can also arrange to shadow a current member of the team to get a taste of what the role of a volunteer involves.
Those who would like more information about the role—or would like to obtain an application pack—should contact the co-ordinating chaplain, Keith Armstrong.
Mr Armstrong can be contacted by calling 07500 928573.
Alternatively send an email to tcc@bolton.gmim.org.uk
