TWO cars were stolen after keys had been taken from inside a house.
The properties were targeted in Blackrod and Horwich at the end of last month.
Burglars forced the lock on French patio doors before damaging a back door to gain entry of the property in Chilgrove Avenue, Blackrod, at around 3.45am on Monday, September 25.
The offenders switched on the lights and grabbed a car key and wallet before making off in the victim’s vehicle.
The second incident was in Butterwick Fields, Horwich, at around 10.30am on the same day.
A resident answered the door and the suspect asked if she wanted her garden doing, when she said no, three men entered the property and told her to hand over her car keys.
They stole the keys for her car and house from the back of the front door. The offenders then left, stealing the car from outside.
